Competitions are a G.R.E.A.T. way to create excitement for your Book Fair.
Enter our Book Fair Garden competition by asking your pupils to get creative … and they could win some truly terrific prizes!
Design a reading bug!
Barkley’s exploring the Book Fair Garden, looking for the reading bug. Can your pupils help him to find it?
Ask your pupils to draw a picture or diagram of what you think the reading bug might look like. Could it be a stick insect, a ladybird or something completely different?
No one has ever seen one before so it’s up to you – but the one thing we do know is that it loves books! The most original entry will win the prizes listed.
How to enter
Ask your pupils to fill in their name, age and school address on their completed entry. Then send your school’s entries to: Book Fair Garden Competition, Scholastic Book Fairs, Euston House, 24 Eversholt Street, London, NW1 1DB. Closing date is 31st July 2013.
We cannot accept entries by email, but entries do not have to be submitted on the official entry form – any material is acceptable and originality is encouraged!
