Book Bingo Terms and conditions
1. Scholastic Limited of Euston House, 24 Eversholt Street, London, NW1 1DB (“Scholastic”, “we”, “our”, “us”) is the promoter of Book Bingo. 2. Each “Book Bingo” prize is subject to specific details and, if applicable, additional rules or terms and conditions which will be featured on the relevant pages of the competition (“Additional Terms”). 3. By entering and participating in Book Bingo, you (“you”, “entrant”) are deemed to have accepted these rules, which may be amended from time to time, together with any Additional Terms. 4. The Book Bingo competition is open to children aged 0-11 and closed to employees of the Promoter or anyone else connected with the promotions. 5. Only one entry per child is permitted. Multiple entries will be deemed invalid. 6. No purchase is necessary for entry into the Book Bingo competition. 7. Entrants are liable for their costs to access telephone, mobile or computer networks. 8. All Book Bingo entries must be received by Scholastic by 30th August 2020. Any entries that arrive later than this will not be considered. 9. No responsibility is accepted for late, damaged, lost or mislaid entries and proof of posting will not be accepted as proof of delivery. Incomplete or indecipherable entries will be void. 10. Entries will not be returned. 11. Scholastic reserves the right, but not the obligation, to publish any entry, including on the website and social media. Entrants acknowledge that the nature of the internet means that such entries will be available to be uploaded and view worldwide. 12. Twelve winners will be selected, one for each of the challenges. Winning entrants are not eligible to win more than once. 13. Winners will be selected at random. The winner will be the first valid entry drawn from all entries received by Scholastic. 14. All decisions of Scholastic will be final and unchallengeable. No correspondence will be entered into. Unsuccessful entrants will not be contacted. 15. If you are a winner, Scholastic will make reasonable efforts to notify you within 30 days after the draw. 16. Failure to claim a prize within 30 days will make any claim invalid. Scholastic shall then be entitled to withdraw that entrant’s right to the prize and select an alternative winner. 17. Prizes may not be exchanged, transferred or re-sold and are subject to availability. No cash alternative will be offered. If for any reason a prize is unavailable, Scholastic reserves the right in its reasonable discretion to substitute a similar prize of equivalent or greater value. 18. Scholastic does not accept any liability for prizes which are lost, delayed or damaged in the post or otherwise not validly received by you. 19. Where prizes are to be provided by a third party then the winner will be required to complete all appropriate or applicable booking or other formalities direct with such provider and comply with any third party terms and conditions. 20.
